BMW Lottery
This is a standard lottery scam, announcing that you’ve won not only a fortune in cash but also a sports car. In reality, there is no BMW lottery, and even if there were, you should remember this cardinal rule: if you didn’t enter, you haven’t won. This particular scam, taking the name of a well-known car manufacturer, has been so common that BMW has even issued a press release advising the public that these messages are fraudulent and do not originate with the company.
